four week course for those new to family history by tutors
from the Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies (AIGS).
The course covers basic research techniques, how to best record
your research, effective use of birth, death & marriage
indexes, immigration, shipping & church records here,
the UK, and use of the internet.
Please note: the last session on Sunday 16th November will
be held at the AIGS library in Blackburn where students will
have an opportunity for hands-on research.
