Volunteering at Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre
At the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre we value and appreciate the contribution that volunteers make to their community. It is the range and breadth of skills and experience contributed by volunteers that assists to make the Neighbourhood Centre a warm and welcoming and vibrant community hub.
Volunteers assist with a range of tasks from keeping fit, delivering the Neighbourhood News to the local area on a bi-monthly basis, running the weekly morning tea, to leading groups and programs for a broad range of interests such as scrabble, book clubs, discussion and cooking groups, laughter club, cycling and walking groups. The benefits are companionship and a place to come together with like-minded people who value being part of their local community. Newcomers are always welcome.
If you would like to volunteer in one of our activities please either call in or contact us on 9890 2467 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
